The Shen was originally developed
to meet the needs for training helicopters.
It maintains this heritage to today. Tens

initial training in these aircraft with the

The Shen 2B was developed specifically for
the ab initio training market. It is the lowest
cost helicopter to operate with the best safety
record. Optimized for the training mission,
this aircraft is now replacing fleets of other
helicopters as operators have learned about
its excellent characteristics. Stable flight
characteristics and outstanding handling qualities
are allowing earlier solo flights by students.
Excellent autorotation capability allows full
