Shanghai Sikorsky Aircraft Company Limited (SSAC) is a joint venture formed by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation United Technologies Corp (UTC) in the USA and Little Eagle Science and Tech. Company Limited (SLEC) in Shanghai. The joint venture is engaged in light helicopter design, production, sales and related services.

The main products are S-300CBI, S-300C and S-333 one-ton class light helicopters. Standing on the shoulders of giants, Shanghai Sikorsky Company is supported by Sikorsky and UTC, with the local advantages of SLEC. This joint venture will introduce world class helicopter design, production and service systems into China and provide customers with complete solutions for their helicopters. The joint venture will also cooperate with related industries to provide services such as flight training, spares inventory, and maintenance.

In order to develop China’s light helicopter market, Shanghai Sikorsky has made extensive investigations in this market and decided to introduce the Shen-Series as the main products of the joint venture. Its mission is to develop the best light helicopters and provide the best service to the customers in China as well as in other Southeast Asian regions.
